When consulting with some Turquoise\/Variscite experts, some have said it looks like a certain kind of turquoise or a certain kind of variscite. I have not been able to get back in touch with the original seller to ask directly but I did purchase a few other stones from her at the time that are exactly as they were listed. So full disclosure... it could just have been a typo on the sellers part.
